If you have to warm up a bottle of milk in the middle of the night, time is of the essence. You are after all only awake because your little woke you up and is now fully awake waiting to be fed. A pot of hot water on the stove simply takes too long.
This machine from Philips Avent warms it up in 2-3 minutes. The best thing is that you can indicate if the bottle came out of the fridge or freezer and how much is in the bottle.

I love gadgets so was excited to purchase this monitor. And when it arrived I was delighted. Very compact - tons of great features - love the fact I could talk to my daughter. BUT - one very basic flaw - the sound on the parent unit is WAY TOO LOW. My husband was putting my daughter down to bed and she was having a temper tantrum because she didn’t want to go - and I could hardly hear it. If I was asleep - forget it. Save your money. Avent worked on cool features, which are great, but in my opinion they need to work on the basic “you can hear your baby” feature.

This monitor works so well. It works so well that you can hear our child breathing at night but, there is NEVER any static!!

I must say this product is top notch. We are amazed at the optional it comes with (3 different Lullabies, temperature notification etc…). Most importantly it work perfectly as a monitor as it only transmits when there is sound in the room, getting rido of any static noise. Highly recommended! The only reason I don’t give it full stars is that it does not have an option for Celsius temperature reading and only come in Fahrenheit and living abroad we have to calculate the temperature.

At first (as a tech-geek) I thought I needed to have a video monitor for my new (first) baby. I took the “of course I need that” approach, but decided to read through a bunch of review sites (including Amazon) to see what other parents were buying. I am glad I chose this one instead of paying a ton for the video monitor.
The sound quality of this monitor is spectacular. I hear absolutely NO interference with anything. I have a wireless G network, two cell phones, and two cordless phones (1 is 2.4ghz; 1 is 900mhz) in my house. The range is also spectacular inside my house, I have yet to hear even a crackle of static or noise. I really like that it has music built in, actually very soothing for my son while we rock him in our glider (however, there aren’t many songs so you hear the same songs quite often). I also love the fact that I can tell the temperature in his room to make sure it’s not too hot/cold. The light on it is not very helpful.
The downside I’ve found so far is that the battery life on the monitor is pretty short, so I find myself keeping it on the charging base quite often. Other than that, we love this product. The only other thing I’d like to see is the ability to turn on the music from the remote monitor, but not a big deal.
Oh and one last feature my wife and I love is that it is also a 2-way intercom, so when one of us is in the nursery with the baby we can talk to the other person and they can talk back. Great when we need something from downstairs while rocking the baby.

This is a nice bag for either a baby girl or boy with the two color flaps you can use interchangeably. I actually got this bag for my friend as she has a baby girl, and then I got the tan/green flaps for my baby boy. I haven’t used mine as I am not due until February, but I really like that it has the insulated pocket for the feeding bottles. I think the material of this product is durable, not to mention the usefulness and convenience of the design.
Although, I have to warn you that if it is available on Amazon, you should get it from Amazon and not from their outside vendors. I’ve had a bad experience with the seller of this product, so as soon as I saw the other color was available at Amazon, I bought it from Amazon and the transaction went smoothly.
Overall, I would recommend this product. Nice bag!

Love this bag…it’s great for a boy or girl. I’m an Avent bottle fan, so everything fits perfectly. There are tons of pockets..the changing pad is a nice size and I love the insulated pocket, which can be used for keeping 2 bottles hot or cold. The messanger bag style is very appealing as well and my husbands favorite feature is the magnetic closure, no zippes to mess with and it still stays shut!

This is a really good bag. It’s very light and has lots of pockets to organize your staff. THe isolated bag is for tow bottles and it really keeps the warm or cold for several hours. I totally recomend it.

I am very happy with this diaper bag. It is roomy, easy to clean, neutral so even my hubby will carry it around and it even has an insulated bottle storage compartment. I also like the inter-changeable flap feature. It does fit two 9-oz Avent bottles and works well at keeping formula safely chilled. I also like the fact that the strap is very easily adjusted. My only complaint (a minor one) is that when it is full, the flap tends to fail to stay on despite the magnetic closure mechanism. I’ve just made it a point to not over-fill it. Problem solved! Other than this, I love this bag. It is stylish. Totally practical. Definitely affordable. I have compared it with other pricier diaper bags and it is still by far my first choice.

I’ve had this bag for 9 months now, and think that it’s an OK item. There are a few things that I like about it, and a few that I don’t.
What I like: it has a magnet, so you don’t have to zip it. It’s a great plus for me, because I oftentimes have to use it with just one hand available. It has a lot of room inside and many compartments. It came with a changing pad, although it’s pretty big and takes up a lot of space. I also like that the bag has an insulated compartment for bottles. The strap is pretty wide, and the bag stays on your shoulder.
what I don’t like: the zippers break so easily! I mean, they still work, but the part that you hold on to, when zipping or opening the bag, comes off. I had one of them come off as soon as I received the bag, and took it out of the box. An insulated compartment for baby’s bottles is too small. I could barely fit my 4 oz Avent bottles in there. And now, then I’m using bigger bottles, they don’t fit in there at all.

I used Avent Bottles for my little one several years ago. My cousin also chose Avent for her baby registry. I chose to order fom Amazon rather than the baby store because of free shipping! Item arrived very quickly, no complaints.

never had a leaking problem with the bottles and the baby seems to be drinking out of them just fine. if the bottle does leak then either it is not tightened enough or tightened wrong.

These bottles are beautiful. They have an aesthetically pleasing design that appeals to me. Even though I used them with my first child and had some problems with them then, I thought “Oh they are just so nice-looking that I have to try them again, maybe they have been improved.” Don’t make the same mistake! These beautiful, clean-lined bottles are fraught with problems.
First off, I have it from FOUR lactation consultants that Avent nipples are horrid for inducing nipple confusion in newborn babies. If that doesn’t sway you, take the word of the frustrated mother of a newborn who now only opens his mouth wide enough for an Avent nipple (think the diameter of a nickel). My first son didn’t get nipple confusion, but my second … trying to breastfeed him now is like trying to stuff a bed pillow down a garden hose.
Secondly, these bottles are sneaky-leaky. They don’t do it all the time, which is why I say they’re sneaky. It is an inconsistent leak, a sort of just-when-you-think-you’ve-mastered-not-making-them-leak-they-gush-on-the-baby-at-3AM kind of leak. Not nice for sleep-deprived parents to deal with in the wee hours. When they do leak, it isn’t a small amount, either. I’ve tried lining up the anti-colic vents with the plastic “fins” in the collar, as I’ve been told this would stop the bottle from leaking. It worked the first two tries, but now my little guy has a wet front thanks to the third time that wasn’t “the charm” and leaked all over him. Some folks say over-tightening the bottles makes them leak. I am as gentle as you can get when it comes to “snug, but not too tight.” I’ve tried every permutation known to man of screwing on those collars, from barely screwed on all the way up to screwed down so tight it will take an Act of God to get the darned things unscrewed. And Yes, they leaked in all stages of screwed-on-ness. Or maybe I should say screwed-up-ed-ness.
I really wanted to like these bottles, really did. Their design and white collars look so clean and “fresh” to my eye. But alas, I can’t deal with the inconsistent performance. If you’re going to bottle-feed, do yourself a favor and get the old-fashioned tall glass bottles our Moms used when raising us. No BPA, no proprietary design and best, NO LEAKS!!

I must first state that this products does work and is pretty hardy.
This product is far from intuitive and easy to use, it is not.
Two small buttons to control everything, from powering it on -hold the left button for 3+ seconds- to setting the power type -quickly click the left button to change the selection, in a round-robin way- to setting the volume amount - click through with the right small button, in a round-robin way, and if you miss the setting keep clicking through- to starting the heating of your screaming child’s meal -hold down the right button for 3+ seconds-.
Now, that frustration is compounded by the fact that these are small buttons that require some pressure to activate and you can easily cause the device to slide backwards. So you often need to use both hands, one to hold the device and keep it from sliding and the other to go through the ridicules motions to set the darned thing. But wait! What do you do when you are holding your child? These engineers should be caned.
This device fails the IQ test and should have had more easy to access buttons.
The other fail is that if you set the amount correctly, you will over heat the contents - my girl doesn’t like it that hot! - so you have to set it way below the actual content level to get it just right…
But lastly, once you get through it all, it does work, it’s just not all that fun to work with.

This is the best bottle warmer out there. It will heat your babies bottle quickly and to the perfect temperature every time. I wouldn’t say it is hard to use at all. Just hold the on button to turn it on, press it again for fridge temp or twice for frozen. Then use the button on the right to select how many ounces and hold to start. I have been using the same bottle warmer for an average of probably 9 times a day for the past 9 months and it still works just as it did when i first bought it. GREAT PRODUCT….
