This is a great product. My wife and I sleep much more soundly at night knowing that our baby is being monitored by this product while she sleeps. I’ve had the monitor about 5 months and only two times a false alarm has sounded. This occurred because she was not in the center of the bed and was breathing lightly at the same time. To me this is no big deal to check up on her. I prefer the machine to err on the side of caution than to confuse vibrations in the house as baby movements. Well worth the money.

My son was 4 days old when he stopped breathing. My husband did CPR on him and saved his life. He was then admitted into the the hospital for several days. The doctors classified it as “near-miss SIDS”. This monitor can save lives! It’s an investment worth making!!! LOVE IT!!!!!

Our child spent her first 21 days in the hospital with monitors on her so I was very nervous when she came home that I would not know if and when she stopped breathing. This gave me peace of mind and thank god the only time it sounded was when I forgot to turn it off when I picked her up to feed her.

While the sensor is a great feature and certainly offers peace of mind (which is why we got it), the actual monitoring leaves much to be desired. The monitor is very prone to interference, has terrible range and constantly “hisses”.. there is no sound-activated feature where it’s muted while there is no or almost no noise. This is particularly annoying at night. The build quality is also pretty bad. One of our transmitters fell about 3 feet and broke immediately.

We received this monitor as a gift from a seasoned veteran. As new parents, this unit helped ease some of our fears. I did find recently that this unit was the source of interference with the wireless network in our home. It seems to operate in the same frequency as Wireless-G networks, as it did not affect our computer with a Wireless-N card.
