  It sounds like a good system if it worked. You cannot use this system or the indoor camera if you or your neighbors within 300 feet have: a wireless computer network, or a cordless phone (2.4 GHz), or a microwave that is running. I’m not kidding - I can’t believe this even passed testing. I think MobiCam has a newer system that you should investigate owning. Those have lots of reviews. Pay attention to them!

  We received this baby monitor as a gift and after seeing how expensive it is, I am glad we didn’t have to pay anything for it. We have been using it for 18 months now and it picks up a lot of interference: microwave, computer from the condo above us, etc. However, the night vision is excellent and the sound and picture quality is excellent. If it wasn’t for the interference every once in a while, I would love it. Also, about 6 months ago it completely stopped working for no reason. I spoke with the company and I sent it back and they fixed it right away and shipped it back to me.

  We’ve had and used it for 2 years and it works great. We have a wireless system in our house and have no problems. It does have a little static when the microwave is on, but we don’t put anything in there for more than 5 minutes. The only problem is I just can’t stop watching her. We’re going to buy another one for our little one because our first is still young enough where we want to still see her too.

  I purchased this monitor for my nephew’s baby shower a few months ago and he can’t stop raving about how great this unit is. His wife absolutely loves how the easy the unit is to use as well as the clear picture. I am now considering buying the recommended internet kit so that they can view the baby from work. I definitely recommend this product to all parents.

  I got this as a gift, and have had a lot of fun with it. It was purchased for watching my newborn, but I mostly use it to spy on my toddler during his “nap” times. I would love to have the second camera to put in his play room as well so I don’t have to keep moving the one camera I have.
  I have one complaint, which others have mentioned: The camera could use some kind of mounting device like a clip or a velcro ring. If I want to watch my baby, I have to rig something up to get just the right camera angle.

  The mobicam is so easy to use –straight out of the box just plug it in and it works. I bought the mobicam because I was tired of hearing dead air with the usual audio-only monitors. Now i can actually watch my child on the screen. I recommend it to everyone and I even bought one for my sister who’s expecting her first child!

  This one was the cheapest I bought. I got it at Walmart. It has great reception even in my WIFI home. The cons are, it takes 6 AA batteries and they only last about 2 hours! It will not work with my rechargable batteries, which I purchased them for! Didn’t come with wall mount, and the cord is too short to place very far from the wall outlet. The camera only moves up and down, limiting your ability to adjust the angles. There is NO video zoom, and unless to put it inside the crib, you can’t see the babies eyes to tell if he is awake. I works for a newborn-5months. It will be difficult to keep this camera out of reach of a baby because you have to keep it so close to the child to see them.
